EliStu is an advice center, support serviceand advocacy group for student parents at Leuphana University.

This is a joint project of the AStA, the Equal Opportunities Office of Leuphana University Lüneburg and the Studierendenwerk OstNiedersachsen.

Trying to reconcile studying and raising children requires enormous organizational talent and often involves worrying about the family’s material livelihood as well as largely foregoing one’s own free time. As a result, the course of studies is more difficult than for fellow students without children.

For this reason, the EliStu project emerged from the merger of the StumiKi (University of Lüneburg) and FH Eltern (FH NON) projects and offers parents during their studies guidance, care services, and advice to facilitate their life organization.

As a service organization of the AStA of the University of Lüneburg, we are committed to university politics and try to represent the interests of student parents in the best possible way.
