Official data on the elections:
- The student elections are expected to be held online.
- The student election committee can be reached at the following e-mail address:
- The electoral register can be viewed at the Election Office (AStA Office – Building 9, Room 103) from 15 April 2026 during the AStA Office’s opening hours. Objections to the electoral register may be submitted to the student electoral committee by email () by the deadline of 30 April 2026 at 2 p.m.
- The AStA office is open on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Nominations must be submitted in writing (with a signature) to the Election Office (AStA Office) or digitally by email () by the deadline of 30 April 2026 at 2 p.m. Only complete nominations will be considered.
- Nominations can also be sent by mail to the election committee (StuPa Universität Lüneburg, c/o Wahlausschuss, Universitätsallee 1, 21335 Lüneburg). Determining factor for consideration is the date and time of receipt at the election office (AStA office, building 9, room 103).
What are we voting for?
Once a year, university elections are held and the student parliament (StuPa) is re-elected.
Based on these votes, the 17 seats of the StuPa are distributed to the lists. Ultimately, these 17 members will then decide, for example, on the students’ financial resources, make political decisions according to the majorities and elect the General Students’ Committee (AStA).
