If carrying books is not one of your favorite activities, just contact the AStA office. The office team will gladly provide you with a locker in the basement of the lecture hall corridor. To rent a locker you have to sign a contract once a semester and pay 10 € to the AStA. You will also have to pay a deposit of 50 €, but with rare exceptions you will get this back ;).

After that, you can leave your heavy books at the university at any time without any worries. The locker is also a great place to store things that are easily forgotten, such as an umbrella.
