On Friday, July 10, 2026, the lecture period of the summer semester at the University of Lüneburg comes to an end, and we want to celebrate that!

As every year, we’re organizing the free AStA Summer Open Air for the occasion. On Friday, July 10, 2026, our university campus will turn into a colorful, open, and inclusive festival for everyone.

The AStA Summer Open Air starts at 2 pm in front of Building 9 with creative craft tables, a plant swap, tin can throwing, and much more. Many different activity booths from various student committees and initiatives will be represented at the AStA Summer Open Air. A diverse program awaits you – from soap-making to bingo to a raffle.

Performances by our four fantastic artists Kadija, EatMe, Güner Künier, and Skuff Barby start at 4:15 pm. We’re especially proud that we were able to bring Kadija, a student from our own university, onto the festival stage. So there’s something for everyone at the AStA Summer Open Air – organized by students, for everyone who’s finally ready for summer!

The SOA is free and open to everyone from Lüneburg and the surrounding area. Alongside the lively festival program, there will be refreshing drinks at our bar and a wide range of food from various food trucks. Whether pizza, crêpes, or ice cream – the AStA Summer Open Air has something to satisfy every craving. We warmly invite you, your friends, and your family to celebrate the end of the lecture period with us!
