International Youth Volunteer Service at Refugee Women’s Centre (RWC)

The RWC supports refugee women in informal camps in northern France through direct aid, psychosocial support, and advocacy for safe shelter and rights. From September 2026, a committed volunteer is sought in Grande-Synthe for 9 months as part of the "International Youth Volunteer Service" (IJFD) programme.

Tasks:Distribution of clothing, hygiene items, and tent materials · Accompaniment to health and legal services · Organizing activities (e.g. art, English) · Everyday support and assistance with accommodation issues

Requirements: 21–26 years old · female or non-binary · interest in humanitarian work and teamwork

What you receive: Accommodation, meals, and pocket money · Insurance · Travel allowance · On-site support · Seminars

Applicants are asked to help set up a support network (“Förderkreis”).
