The next student elections are scheduled for 20–22 May 2025.
The time has come, the elections are over! You can find the preliminary results and further information here. The deadline for objections to the preliminary election results is 12:00 noon on 28 May.

Official data on the elections:
- The elections will commence in person with an optional voting by mail.
- Applications for postal votes can be submitted by mail from the beginning of the deadline, stating address and matriculation number.
- The student election committee can be reached at the following e-mail address:
- The electoral register can be viewed at the election office (AStA office – Building 9, Room 103) from 14 April 2025 during the opening hours of the AStA office. Objections to the electoral register can be submitted to the student election committee by email () until the deadline on 30 April 2025 at 2 p.m.
- The AStA office is open on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Nominations must be submitted in writing (with signature) to the election office (AStA office – Building 9, Room 103) by the deadline of 30 April 2025 at 2 p.m. Only complete nominations can be considered.
- Nominations can also be sent by mail to the election committee (StuPa Universität Lüneburg, c/o Wahlausschuss, Universitätsallee 1, 21335 Lüneburg). Determining factor for consideration is the date of receipt at the election office (AStA office, building 9, room 103).
- The postmark is not decisive for the election letters / postal voting documents, but the date of receipt at the election office (AStA office – building 9, room 103). The ballot papers/postal voting documents must be received by the deadline of 22 May 2025 at 2 p.m.
What are we voting for?
Once a year, university elections are held and the student parliament (StuPa) is re-elected.
Based on these votes, the 17 seats of the StuPa are distributed to the lists. Ultimately, these 17 members will then decide, for example, on the students’ financial resources, make political decisions according to the majorities and elect the General Students’ Committee (AStA).
