Aims of the Legal Advice
With the legal advice service, the AStA would like to give all students the opportunity to obtain initial legal information without any obligation or red tape. Counseling is free of charge for students because the AStA covers the costs. The lawyers are available to answer all common legal questions. If you have specific questions that they cannot answer immediately, they will refer you to a specialist lawyer.
Consultations always take place on Thursdays between 12 noon and 2 p.m. in the offices of Sieper & Lösing (click here for an overview of all consultation hours).
Registration
Registration is handled by us and not by the law firm! Please use the registration form. If you have any questions, please send us a short e-mail to 🙂 Please always register by Monday evening for the legal advice session on Thursday of the same week.
If you have any documents that could be useful for the consultation, please bring them with you to the consultation.

Consultation hours
- during the lecture period: weekly Thursdays 12-14:00 (except on public holidays)
- during the semester break: every 2nd Thursday 12-14:00 (except on public holidays)
- IMPORTANT: from Mai 2025 on the regular Date is thursday 15-17 pm.
