AStA Newsletter #11
Last updated 5. March 2025 | Sprecherinnen
Dear students,
We hope the last week of the semester goes as you expect it to! Here are the latest news from the AStA:
Bus to university too full
We have heard more and more that the 5011 and 5012 are extremely overcrowded at peak times in the morning. It’s so bad that some people can’t even get on the bus. As a result, we have contacted the district of Lüneburg and explained the situation to them. The district will take care of it and get back to us. Your feedback is important here: please let us know how you perceive the current bus situation!
Studying with disabilities – Open Session
The Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Fascism Committee of the Student Parliament wants to develop an action plan for structures and representatives in the student body and draft an anti-discrimination guideline or statute together with affected persons and those responsible.
The committee needs your participation, suggestions and support! It is also important that as many interests and concerns as possible are represented – especially when it comes to drafting an anti-discrimination statute.
As students, we are all in touch with the topic in one way or another, so we hope that the meeting will be a nice, constructive exchange and that we may already have some initial ideas on how we can proceed.

The committee for anti-discrimination and anti-fascism of the student’s parliament (StuPa) wants to invite you to an open session next Wednesday (29.01.20) at 4 pm in C9.102 on the topic “Studying with disabilities at Leuphana” and anti-discrimination work in the student body in general.
The topic should be relevant for all of us at any time, but recently concrete concerns were brought to the StuPa, so our attention is currently focused on the improvement of deficient conditions at the university. We want to work together with affected persons and the responsible persons to develop an action plan for structures and representatives in the student body and the draft of an anti-discrimination directive or statute.
Yourparticipation, suggestions and support is welcome and necessary! It is also important that as many interests and concerns as possible are represented – especially when it comes to drafting an anti-discrimination statute. As students, we are all in contact with the topic in some way, so we hope that the meeting will provide a nice, constructive exchange of ideas and possibly some first ideas and actions on how to proceed.
