Du möchtest die Interessen der Studierendenschaft aktiv vertreten und Einblicke in hochschulnahe Entscheidungsprozesse erhalten? Dann bewirb dich als studentisches Mitglied im Verwaltungsrat des Studierendenwerks OstNiedersachsen. Das Amt umfasst die Teilnahme an drei Sitzungen pro Jahr in Braunschweig, die Vorbereitung und Mitentscheidung bei geschäftlichen Fragen sowie den Austausch mit den Sprecherinnen der Studierendenschaft. Für jede Sitzung gibt es ein Sitzungsgeld von 50 Euro. Bewerbungen sind bis zur Wahl am 11. Februar 2025 möglich und frühzeitig erwünscht.

Repaircafé // 01.02. 🔨
Am 01.02.2026 findet unser nächstes Repaircafé statt und wir freuen uns darauf. Unser Veranstaltungsort ist die VHS Lüneburg, Haagestraße 4, 21335 Lüneburg. Wir sind in der Eingangshalle, Zugang durch den Haupteingang, von 15-18Uhr für alle, die etwas zu reparieren haben, da. Mit vorhandenem Werkzeug könnt Ihr unter Anleitung die Reparaturen auch gern selbst unterstützen. Das Repaircafé Lüneburg ist der www.anstiftung.de angegliedert. Wir freuen uns auf Sie und Ihre Reparatur. Bringen Sie bitte alles nötige Zubehör wie Kabel, Batterien/Akkus, Antenne usw. zum Termin mit. WICHTIG! Was wir nicht reparieren: Mikrowellen, Tintenstrahldrucker, Handy´s, Kaffeevollautomaten, Fahrräder und Verbrennungsmotoren.

Aktiventreffen Commons Zentrum // 01.02. 🗨️
Im monatlichen Aktiventreffen besprechen wir gemeinsam, was gerade im Commons Zentrum ansteht. Das Treffen ist offen für alle aktiven Personen, sowie für solche, die es werden möchten. Aktiv heißt, dass man sich in irgendeiner Form, z. B. in einer der Commonsgruppen (Schenkladen, Fahrradwerkstatt, Töpferwerkstatt) oder auch punktuell im Commons Zentrum einbringt oder das zukünftig möchte. Falls du überlegst, aktiv zu werden, ist das Aktiventreffen eine gute Gelegenheit, um das Team und den Ort besser kennenzulernen.

Weed of Empire Talk // 06.02. 🌳 [Englisch]
Was wäre, wenn Imperien nicht nur mit Schiffen, Soldaten und Verträgen entstanden wären, sondern auch durch Pflanzen, Tiere und veränderte Landschaften? “Weeds of Empire” betrachtet die europäische Kolonisierung der Amerikas aus einer umwelthistorischen Perspektive. Anhand von zwei Fallstudien zeigt der Vortrag, wie der erste Kontakt zwischen Europa und den Amerikas Ökosysteme und Gesellschaften tiefgreifend veränderte – und wie die Natur selbst zu einem Instrument kolonialer Macht wurde. Kommt zu unserem verschobenen Vortrag “Weeds of Empire” im Rahmen der Öko?-logisch! Vortragsreihe “From Colonization to Nature Conservation” am Freitag, den 6. Februar, um 16:15 Uhr im Hörsaal 5.

Hallo Unipeoples, frisches, saisonales, faires Biogemüse zum wöchentlichen Abholen im Commonszentrum gefällig? Wir aus dem Ginsterbusch melden uns bei euch mit noch 30 freien Gemüseanteilen zum Saisonstart ab April 2026! Wir versuchen mit unserer Solawi eine Alternative zur kapitalistischen Wirtschaftsweise herzustellen. Wir versuchen seit acht Jahren, Landwirtschaft und Gemüsebau neu und anders zu denken. Wir stehen für eine solidarische, antifaschistische, vielfältige und nachhaltige Bewirtschaftung unseres (und bald schon auch eures?) Ackers. Im April steigt ihr ein und bekommt von uns frisches Gemüse, direkt von unserem schönen Acker, immer dienstags. Meldet euch doch gerne am besten bis zum 15.02. für Infos! . REMIX YOUR ARCHIVE// 31.01. 🧑‍🎨
Die Halle für Kunst Lüneburg wird 30 Jahre alt. Aus diesem Anlass hat der Künstler Samuel Bich ein Archiv eingerichtet, das wir in diesem generationsübergreifenden Workshop gemeinsam erkunden. Der Kunstverein ist fest in der Stadt verwurzelt und trat im Laufe der Jahre an unterschiedlichen Orten und in verschiedenen Formen in Erscheinung. Doch was hat er mit dem Friseursalon Haarley’s zu tun? Wie kam Yoko Ono ins Pons? Und wohin führte die Magical Mystery Tour? Diesen und anderen Rätseln gehen wir auf die Spur – und stoßen dabei auf überraschende Parallelen zu unseren eigenen Lebensgeschichten. Alle Teilnehmenden – egal welchen Alters – sind eingeladen, ein persönliches Dokument oder Objekt aus den letzten 30 Jahre mitzubringen. Ausgehend davon suchen wir nach zeitlichen, örtlichen und persönlichen Berührungspunkten zwischen unserem eigenen Leben und der Geschichte der Halle für Kunst Lüneburg. Diese Verbindungen halten wir in Collagen fest, die wir in Anlehnung an Samuel Bichs Ausstellung INVENTORY 1995-2025 gemeinsam gestalten. Anmeldung unter . Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.

Kalk, Salz, Ton – bedeutende Bodenschätze in Lüneburg // 01.02. 🧱
Das Museum läd zur Sonntagsgeschichte mit Jürgen Stehr ein. Die Geschichte Lüneburgs ist untrennbar mit der Salzgewinnung verbunden. Weniger bekannt, aber ebenso bedeutend für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Stadt, sind die umfangreichen Kalk-, Kreide- und Tonvorkommen der Region. Abbau, Verarbeitung und Transport dieser wichtigen Bodenschätze stehen im Mittelpunkt der Sonntagsgeschichte mit Jürgen Stehr. Anhand ausgewählter Exponate erläutert Jürgen Stehr im Museum Lüneburg die Gewinnung, Weiterverarbeitung und den Transport von Kalk, Salz und Ton und zeigt ihre zentrale Bedeutung für die Stadt- und Industriegeschichte Lüneburgs auf.

Wandelwoche 2026 – Einladung zum Planungs-/ „Wandeltreffen“ // 05.02. 🗨️
Die Wandelwoche geht 2026 in die 9. Runde (vom 30.10. bis 8.11.). Daher stellen wir uns die Frage: Was und wohin wollen wir überhaupt wandeln? Und wie gelingt tatsächlicher Wandel in den Köpfen und Herzen unserer Gesellschaft? Uns interessieren eure Gedanken und Ideen! Would you like to represent student interests and gain insight into administrative decision-making processes? Then apply to become a student member of the Administrative Board of the Studierendenwerk OstNiedersachsen. The role includes attending three meetings per year in Braunschweig, preparing for and contributing to business decisions, and regularly exchanging with student representatives. You will be elected by the Student Parliament. Members receive a fee of €50 per meeting. Applications are possible until the election on 11 February 2025 and are strongly encouraged at an early stage. There are good German skills required.

Our next Repair Café will take place on February 1, 2026, and we are looking forward to it. Our venue is the VHS Lüneburg, Haagestraße 4, 21335 Lüneburg. We will be in the entrance hall, accessible via the main entrance, from 3 to 6 p.m. for anyone who has something to repair. With the tools provided, you are also welcome to assist with the repairs yourself under supervision. The Repair Café Lüneburg is affiliated with the www.anstiftung.de. We look forward to seeing you and your repair. Please bring all necessary accessories such as cables, batteries/rechargeable batteries, antennas, etc. with you to the appointment. IMPORTANT! What we do not repair: Microwaves, inkjet printers, cell phones, fully automatic coffee machines, bicycles, and combustion engines.

In the monthly activist meeting, we discuss together what is currently on the agenda at the Commons Zentrum. The meeting is open to all active people, as well as those who want to become one. Active means that you are involved in some form, e.g. in one of the Commons groups (gift shop, bicycle workshop, pottery workshop) or even selectively in the Commons Center or that you want to do so in the future. If you are thinking about getting active, the active meeting is a good opportunity to get to know the team and the place better.

Hello Universitypeople, we are a community supported agriculture (CSA) growing veggies outside of Lüneburg. We Want to open a Veggie-Pick-Up for our members at commonszentrum and are looking for 30 more people to be part of our movement and eat our weekly fresh veggies. we try to open up an alternative to the capitalist way of growing and selling food. we stand for an antifashist, sustainable and solidarian cultivation on our farm. We start the new season in april, send an email (if possible till Feb 15) for more infos! . Our general meeting will also take place on March 2 at 6:30 p.m.

REMIX YOUR ARCHIVE // Jan 31 🧑‍🎨 [German]
The Halle für Kunst Lüneburg is turning 30. To mark the occasion, artist Samuel Bich has set up an archive that we will explore together in this intergenerational workshop. The art association is firmly rooted in the city and has appeared in different locations and in various forms over the years. But what does it have to do with the Haarley’s hair salon? How did Yoko Ono end up at Pons? And where did the Magical Mystery Tour lead? We will investigate these and other mysteries – and in doing so, we will discover surprising parallels to our own life stories. All participants – regardless of age – are invited to bring a personal document or object from the last 30 years. Based on this, we will look for temporal, local, and personal points of contact between our own lives and the history of the Halle für Kunst Lüneburg. We will capture these connections in collages, which we will create together based on Samuel Bich’s exhibition INVENTORY 1995-2025. Registration at . Participation is free of charge.

Lime, salt, clay – important mineral resources in Lüneburg // Feb 01 🧱
The museum invites you to a Sunday story with Jürgen Stehr. The history of Lüneburg is inextricably linked to salt production. Less well known, but equally important for the economic development of the city, are the region’s extensive deposits of lime, chalk, and clay. The extraction, processing, and transport of these important mineral resources are the focus of the Sunday story with Jürgen Stehr. Using selected exhibits, Jürgen Stehr explains the extraction, processing, and transport of lime, salt, and clay at the Lüneburg Museum and highlights their central importance for the urban and industrial history of Lüneburg.
