Geburtstag in Gedenken – Gerechtigkeit für Lorenz! Polizeigewalt stoppen! // 11.05. ✊
Der 21-jährige Lorenz wurde vor zweieinhalb Wochen durch drei Schüsse von hinten von der Polizei in Oldenburg getötet. Am kommenden Sonntag wäre er 22 Jahre alt geworden. Deshalb werden wir an diesem Tag auf die Straße gehen: wir gedenken Lorenz und fordern eine lückenlose und unabhängige Aufklärung des Falles. Lorenz war Schwarz und sein Tod kein Einzelfall! Deutschlandweit wollen wir am Sonntag strukturellen Rassismus in der Polizei anklagen. No justice no peace! Zeigt euch solidarisch mit den Betroffenen und der Oldenburger Initiative “Gerechtigkeit für Lorenz” und kommt dazu! Bringt auch gern Kerzen und Plakate mit.

Awarenessaktion für die schwere Krankheit ME/CFS im Klippo & Wasserturm // 12.05. 💙
ME/CFS ist eine neuroimmunologische Krankheit mit verschiedenen Symptomen. Sie geht mit niedrigster Lebensqualität und starker Stigmatisierung einher. Betroffene haben unter anderem starke Fatigue, Schmerzen, kognitive Einschränkungen, Herz-/Kreislaufprobleme, und jegliche Belastung kann diese verschlimmern. Die Erforschung dieser Krankheit wurde seit über 50 Jahren maßlos vernachlässigt. ME/CFS ist bisher nur symptomatisch behandelbar. Dabei werden Symptome oft mangels Wissen fälschlicherweise psychologisiert, was in der Folge zu schwerwiegender Fehlbehandlung führen kann. Es braucht endlich eine bessere Versorgung und Aufklärung über die Erkrankung. Um darauf  aufmerksam zu machen, leuchten deutschlandweit am 12. Mai, dem Internationalen ME/CFS-Tag, Gebäude blau. In Lüneburg das Klippo und der Wasserturm.

Öko?-logisch! Picknick und Kennenlernen // 13.05. 🌱
Du hast Lust, dich an der Uni für Nachhaltigkeit zu engagieren und weißt nur noch nicht so ganz genau wo und wie? Komm doch beim Öko?-logisch! vorbei. Nachdem bei uns einiges an Umbruch stattgefunden hat, starten wir jetzt mit frischer Energie und neuen Ideen in die Referatsarbeit und freuen uns über jede Motivation, egal ob du direkt den ganzen Campus umgestalten willst oder nur mal vorbeischauen magst. Bei einem kleinen Snack und hoffentlich ein bisschen Sonne wollen wir überlegen, wie wir das Referat in der nächsten Zeit so gestalten wollen und auch wann wir ab jetzt Plenum haben.

Queere Ringvorlesung: „Wir wollen, dass es allen Menschen möglichst gut geht“ – Onlineworkshop zu Awareness // 19.05. 💜
Awareness ist ein Konzept, dass sich gegen jede Form von Grenzverletzung, Gewalt und Diskriminierung in Handlung und Haltung stellt. Diese sollen nicht toleriert werden. Stattdessen sollen Veränderungs- und Handlungsmöglichkeiten aufgezeigt werden. In  diesem Workshop wolle wir uns dazu mit folgenden Fragen beschäftigen: Was haben Diskriminierungs- und Privilegierungsstrukturen mit dem Thema zu tun? Was bedeutet es Awareness-Arbeit zu machen? Was für Probleme treten dabei oft auf? Wie lässt sich mit Grenzüberschreitungen und Übergriffen konstruktiv umgehen? Wie lässt sich Awareness-Arbeit weiterdenken?In diesem Workshop wolle wir uns dazu mit folgenden Fragen beschäftigen: Was haben Diskriminierungs- und Privilegierungsstrukturen mit dem Thema zu tun?

Queere Ringvorlesung: Vorstellung von gender affirming Hilfsmitteln und ihrer Relevanz für trans* Gesundheit – Workshop // 20.05. 🌈
Der Fuck Yeah Sexshop ist konzipiert als praktisch-konkreter Ort der trans Gesundheit. Aus dem Fuck Yeah Kollektiv kommt Zarah an die Leuphana und geht den Fragen nach: Welche positiven Effekte können gender affirming Produkte auf Genderdysphorie haben? Welche Rolle spielen sie in der Lebensrealität von trans* Personen? – Es wird eine vielfältige Auswahl von gender affirming Hilfsmitteln gezeigt und erklärt, wie Binder, Tucking Wäsche, Sextoys. Die Sextoys werden am Ende nach einer kleinen Pause und Content Note vorgestellt, sodass Menschen auch davor gehen können.

Podiumsdiskussion zu den StuPa Wahlen // 19.05. 🗨️
Die Wahlen des Studierenden Parlaments stehen kurz vor der Tür. Vom 20.-22. Mai können wir, die Studis, wählen. Aber was ist das Studierenden Parlament, worüber entscheidet es, wer steht zur Wahl und warum solltest du wählen gehen? Wenn du Antworten auf diese Fragen und mehr über die StuPa Wahlen wissen willst, dann komm am Montag dem 19.05 um 19 Uhr in den Hörsaal 1!! Nach einem kurzen Info-Block zu den Wahlen, diskutieren wir mit den antretenden Listen über ihre Standpunkte und Ziele. Die Veranstaltung wird auf deutsch stattfinden. Neuer StuPa Vorsitz gesucht + Amtsvorstellung // bis 28.05. 🪑
Du bist teamfähig, strukturiert und leitest gerne Sitzungen? Wenn du Spaß an Organisation hast und gerne mit anderen zusammenarbeitest, dann bist du im Student*innenparlament genau richtig! Als Vorsitz (bestehend aus zwei bis drei Menschen) übernimmst du u.a. die Sitzungsleitung inkl. Vor- und Nachbereitung, kommunizierst mit AStA, Senat sowie Hochschulgremien und pflegst die Website. Mehr Infos gibt es am 14.05. im MuFuZi (Gebäude 9) um 15:00 Uhr. Dort wird das Amt vorgestellt und du kannst alle möglichen Fragen stellen. Unter den Betroffenen sind zahlreiche Kinder und Jugendliche. Viele benötigen zum Überleben eine Stammzellspende, finden jedoch keine*n passende:n Spender*in. vom reinen Schlafplatz bis zur gemütlichen Wohlfühlzuhause: Wohnungen können ganz unterschiedlich aussehen. In Zeiten von Inflation und steigenden Mieten kann die Wohnsituation vor allem für Studierende auch sehr belastend sein. Wir möchten jetzt wissen, wie IHR wohnt. Was ist euch wichtig? Welche Rolle spielt eure Wohnung im Studium? Wo wohnt ihr – alleine, in einer WG, bei euren Eltern? Nehmt euch 10 Minuten Zeit und helft uns, unser Wohnangebot zukunftsfähig zu machen und auf eure Bedürfnisse zuzuschneiden. Dafür müsst ihr nicht in unseren Wohnheimen wohnen, uns interessiert die Meinung von allen Studierenden. Für Bewohner*innen unserer Wohnheime gibt es in der  Umfrage einen Extra-Abschnitt, um die Zufriedenheit mit dem Wohnheim zu bewerten. Als Dankeschön verlosen wir unter allen Teilnehmenden 30 Mensagutscheine im Wert von bis zu 20€. Hier geht es zur Umfrage.

In „Ich möchte Wein trinken und auf das Ende der Welt warten“ erzählt Slata Roschal von einer Frau, die nach gängigen Kategorien eine geglückte Biographie hat, in einem Hotelzimmer sitzt und darüber nachdenkt, alles hinter sich zu lassen: ihren Mann, ihre Kinder, ihre Existenz, möglicherweise ihr Leben insgesamt. Zerrissen von einer unbestimmten Unzufriedenheit, getrieben von Überforderung nimmt sie einen Übersetzungsauftrag an, der alles verändert.

Theater: “Die Schatzinsel” // 15./17./18.05. 🏝️
Der Junge Jim Hawkins führt ein ruhiges und beschauliches Leben in dem kleinen Wirtshaus seiner Eltern irgendwo an der englischen Küste. Eines Tages jedoch quartiert sich der alte sonderbare Seemann Bill Bones bei ihnen ein. Eine Seekiste hat er dabei, die er wie seinen Augapfel hütet. Welches Geheimnis umgibt diesen alten Seebären und wovor hat er solche Angst? Als er stirbt, entdeckt Jim die Schatzkarte des berühmten Käpt’n Flint in der Kiste. Zusammen mit zwei väterlichen Freunden sticht Jim in See und begibt sich auf Schatzsuche. Doch auch die Piraten aus Käpt’n Flints alter Mannschaft sind hinter dem Schatz her und so beginnt für Jim ein gefährliches Abenteuer.

Demonstration: Justice for Lorenz! // 11.05. ✊
Two and a half weeks ago, 21-year-old Lorenz was killed by three shots from behind by the police in Oldenburg. It would have been his birthday this Sunday. That is why we are taking to the streets: we are commemorating Lorenz and demanding a thorough and independent investigation. Lorenz was Black and his death is not an isolated case! On Sunday, we want to denounce structural racism in the police force across Germany. The demonstration starts at 4 pm on the market square. Show your solidarity with the Oldenburg initiative “Justice for Lorenz” and come along! You are also welcome.

Awareness campaign for the serious disease ME/CFS at Klippo & Wasserturm // 12.05. 💙
ME/CFS is a neuroimmunological disease with various symptoms. It is associated with a very low quality of life and stigmatization. Sufferers experience severe fatigue, pain, cognitive impairment, cardiovascular problems and any stress can exacerbate these. Research into this disease has been neglected for over 50 years. ME/CFS can only be treated symptomatically. Symptoms are often wrongly psychologized, which can lead to serious treatment failures. Better care and information about the disease is finally needed. To draw attention to this, buildings across Germany will be lit up in blue on May 12, International ME/CFS Day. In Lüneburg the Klippo and Watertower.

Would you like to get involved in sustainability at university but don’t know exactly where and how? Why don’t you come to our Öko?-logisch! Picnic. After a lot of change, we are now starting our work in the society with fresh energy and new ideas and are happy about any motivation, whether you want to redesign the whole campus directly or just want to drop by. Over a snack and hopefully a bit of sunshine, we want to think about how we want to organize the department in the near future and also when we want to do our plenum.

Awareness is a concept that opposes any form of boundary violation, violence and discrimination in action and attitude. These should not be tolerated. Instead, possibilities for change and action should be shown. In this workshop we want to deal with the following questions: What do structures of discrimination and privilege have to do with the topic? What does it mean to do awareness work? What kind of problems often arise? How can we deal constructively with boundaries being crossed and assaults? How can awareness work be further developed?

Queere Ringvorlesung: Presentation of gender affirming tools and their relevance for trans* health – Workshop // 20.05. 🌈 [in German]
The Fuck Yeah Sexshop is conceived as a practical and concrete place of trans health. Zarah from the Fuck Yeah collective is coming to Leuphana to explore the questions: What positive effects can gender affirming products have on gender dysphoria? What role do they play in the reality of trans* people’s lives? – A diverse selection of gender affirming aids will be shown and explained, such as binders, tucking underwear and sex toys. The sex toys are presented at the end after a short break and content note, so that people can also walk in front of them.

Panel discussion on the StuPa elections // 19.05. 🗨️ [in German]
The student parliament elections are just around the corner. From May 20-22, we, the students, can vote. But what is the Student Parliament, what does it decide, who is standing for election and why should you vote? If you want to know the answers to these questions and more about the StuPa elections, then come to lecture hall 1 on Monday, May 19th at 7pm! After a short information block on the elections, we will discuss their positions and goals with the candidate lists. The event will be held in German. You are healthy and between 17 and 55 years old? Save a life! Every 12 minutes a patient in Germany gets diagnosed with leukemia, including many children and adolescents. Many need a stem cell donation in order to survive but do not find a matching donor. The student council of psychology wants to change this! In “I want to drink wine and wait for the end of the world”, Slata Roschal tells the story of a woman who, according to conventional categories, has a successful biography, sits in a hotel room and thinks about leaving everything behind: her husband, her children, her existence, possibly her life as a whole. Torn by a vague dissatisfaction, driven by excessive demands, she accepts a translation job that changes everything.

The young Jim Hawkins leads a quiet and tranquil life in his parents‘ small inn somewhere on the English coast. One day, however, the strange old sailor Bill Bones comes to stay with them. He has a sea chest with him, which he guards like the apple of his eye. What secret surrounds this old sea dog and what is he so afraid of? When he dies, Jim discovers the treasure map of the famous Captain Flint in the box. Together with two fatherly friends, Jim sets sail in search of treasure. But the pirates from Captain Flint’s old crew are also after the treasure and so a dangerous adventure begins for Jim.
