Sustainability is on everyone’s lips at Leuphana – after all, it is the most pressing challenge of our generation.
We as “Öko?-Logisch! – the sustainability society” of the AStA campaign for sustainability on campus and in the minds of the members of the university. Our group of committed students deals with topics around an ecological way of life for a sustainable future.
Specifically, we regularly plan exciting events, such as workshops, bring the annual Waste Prevention Week to Leuphana, host one vegan brunch per month, and organize the weekly Bockelsberg Market with organic and regional food on campus.
Of course, our work is also severely limited by the Covid-19 pandemic at the moment, as hygiene rules to avoid infections naturally apply on campus as well.
Nevertheless, we have lots of ideas for the coming months and want to realize exciting projects. Whether in an online format, as a webinar, or in small face-to-face events on campus – you can be curious!
