Queere Ringvorlesung: Queer as Volk: The Far-Right\u2019s Queer Faces and the Limits of Liberal Analysis – Workshop \/\/ 16.06. \u270a [in English]<\/strong>
This workshop examines German-Hungarian right-wing collaborations\u2014both historical and contemporary\u2014focusing on examples such as the cooperation between the Saxon LKA and the Hungarian judiciary in the Antifa trials surrounding Maja T. The second half of the session invites participants into an interactive analysis of counter-narratives and resistance strategies. Through collective exploration of resistance aesthetics, slogans, and memes, the workshop analyzes which narratives genuinely subvert authoritarian logic, and which inadvertently reproduce right-wing messaging or victimhood. The goal is to identify more effective strategies for cultural and political opposition.

Mahnwache Keine A39 vom KlimaKollektiv \/\/ 15.06. \u274c<\/strong>
Es wird leider immer noch eine neue Autobahn zwischen L\u00fcneburg und Wolfsburg geplant. Das bedeutet eine mehr als 100 km neue breite Stra\u00dfe f\u00fcr noch mehr Autoverkehr und f\u00fcr Milliarden Euro – Geld das eigentlich dringend f\u00fcr den Ausbau des \u00d6PNV gebraucht wird. Das L\u00fcner Holz ist ein Waldgebiet ca. 2 km von der Innenstadt entfernt, wo viele B\u00e4ume gef\u00e4llt werden sollen, um die Autobahn zu bauen. Komm vorbei und informier dich bei Kaffee und Kuchen wie wir die A39 verhindern k\u00f6nnen. Akademische Gremienwahlen: Wahlhelfer*innen f\u00fcr die Wahlaussicht gesuchtg \/\/ 24.-26.06. \ud83d\udc8c<\/strong>
f\u00fcr die Durchf\u00fchrung der akademischen Gremienwahlen vom 24.-26. Juni werden noch Wahlhelfer*innen ben\u00f6tigt, die f\u00fcr ca. 1,5-2 Stunden (gerne auch l\u00e4nger) im Wahllokal die Wahlaufsicht \u00fcbernehmen. Die Wahlen werden in einem abgegrenzten Teil der Mensa durchgef\u00fchrt. Geplant sind f\u00fcr die Wahl zum Senat und zu den Fakult\u00e4tsr\u00e4te zwei Tische so dass mehrerer Wahlhelfer*innen ben\u00f6tigt werden, die f\u00fcr einen geregelten Ablauf im Wahllokal sorgen. Unter dem Titel \u201eEnglish Tour of International Connections and Conceptions in the Museum\u201c erhalten Besucher*innen die Gelegenheit, die Ausstellung aus einer internationalen Perspektive zu erleben. Von r\u00f6mischem Tafelgeschirr, das in den Gr\u00e4bern germanischer S\u00f6ldner gefunden wurde, bis hin zu detailreichen Landkarten wie der Ebstorfer Landkarte \u2013 zahlreiche Objekte im Museum erz\u00e4hlen von globalem Handel, Fernreisen und internationalen Gelehrtennetzwerken. Ruth Hoffmann: \u201cDas deutsche Alibi. Mythos Stauffenberg-Attentat \u2013 wie der 20. Juli 1944 verkl\u00e4rt und politisch instrumentalisiert wird\u201c \ud83d\udcd6 \/\/ 11.06.<\/strong>
Die Journalistin Ruth Hoffmann unternimmt eine umfassende und l\u00e4ngst \u00fcberf\u00e4llige Dekonstruktion des Mythos \u201eStauffenberg-Attentat\u201c und zeichnet nach, wie der 20. Juli seit Gr\u00fcndung der Bundesrepublik politisch instrumentalisiert wird: mal um sich gegen die DDR abzusetzen und kommunistische Widerst\u00e4ndler zu diffamieren; mal um Politiker*innen, die mit dem NS-Regime kollaboriert hatten, eine N\u00e4he zum Widerstand anzudichten; oder, wie neuerdings die AfD, um die eigene Demokratiefeindlichkeit mit einem angeblichen Widerstandsgeist in der Tradition Stauffenbergs zu kaschieren. \u201eDas deutsche Alibi\u201c wurde mit dem Sachbuchpreis der ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS 2024 ausgezeichnet und war f\u00fcr den Deutschen Sachbuchpreis und den NDR Sachbuchpreis nominiert.

<\/strong>Prinz Philipp lebt ein sorgenfreies Leben am Hof, doch er ist von der Monotonie gelangweilt. Um f\u00fcr Abwechslung zu sorgen, beschlie\u00dft er, die b\u00fcrgerliche, schweigsame und unscheinbare Yvonne zu heiraten \u2013 sehr zum Entsetzen der Hofgesellschaft. Yvonne passt nicht in die Welt des Adels: Sie ist still, unansehnlich und reagiert nicht auf Spott oder Grausamkeit. Gerade dieses beharrliche Schweigen bringt Unruhe, Angst und Aggression in die h\u00f6fische Welt. Die Gesellschaft beginnt, sich selbst zu entlarven. In Yvonne, die Burgunderprinzessin entlarvt Gombrowicz mit bei\u00dfendem Humor die Angst vor dem Anderen und legt die Abgr\u00fcnde einer scheinbar heilen Gesellschaft offen.

This workshop examines German-Hungarian right-wing collaborations\u2014both historical and contemporary\u2014focusing on examples such as the cooperation between the Saxon LKA and the Hungarian judiciary in the Antifa trials surrounding Maja T. The second half of the session invites participants into an interactive analysis of counter-narratives and resistance strategies. Through collective exploration of resistance aesthetics, slogans, and memes, the workshop analyzes which narratives genuinely subvert authoritarian logic, and which inadvertently reproduce right-wing messaging or victimhood. The goal is to identify more effective strategies for cultural and political opposition.

Journalist Ruth Hoffmann undertakes a comprehensive and long overdue deconstruction of the \u201cStauffenberg assassination\u201d myth and traces how the 20th of July has been politically instrumentalized since the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany. July has been politically instrumentalized since the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany: sometimes to distance oneself from the GDR and defame communist resisters; sometimes to accuse politicians who collaborated with the Nazi regime of being close to the resistance; or, as has recently been the case with the AfD, to conceal one’s own hostility to democracy with an alleged spirit of resistance in the tradition of Stauffenberg. \u201cDas deutsche Alibi\u201d was awarded the non-fiction prize of the ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS 2024 and was nominated for the German Non-Fiction Prize and the NDR Non-Fiction Prize.
