[sic!]\nattentive. The Studiwerke in Lower Saxony are partly financed by the state\nand partly by your student fees. As the state subsidizes the\nStudiwerke less and less, your semester fee is increasing so that\nservices such as the canteen, halls of residence, psychological counselling and\nthe cultural office can be financed. With our stand today in the canteen\n, we want to draw attention to the underfunding by the state, show solidarity\nand make it clear that an additional financial burden on students is out of the question\n.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Of course, the problem\ndoesn&#8217;t just affect us in L\u00fcneburg, but also students at\nall other university campuses. So if you are reading this article, even though\nyou are not studying at the University of L\u00fcneburg, take a look around your campus,\nsign the petition there or make your student body aware of the\nday of action. <\/p>\n\n<p>Sign\nthe petition in the canteen and join us in demanding, among other things, an immediate\nincrease in the state subsidy for the Studierendenwerke by 25% and an\nautomatic, annual increase of 3% and the associated relief\nfor us students through a significant reduction in contributions and a return\nto fair funding for the Studierendenwerke.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The alliance SOS Studiwerke draws attention to the underfunding of student services.
