Sascha Schie\u00dfl is a historian and works for the Lower Saxony Refugee Council. Last year, he spent several long periods in Bosnia-Herzegovina to document the situation along the Balkan route and support refugees on the ground. In his lecture, he reports on the reception of refugees in Bosnia, the consequences of the European policy of isolation and in particular the violence of the Croatian border police, but also on solidarity between refugees.
